Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Deployment Specialist - this is an onsite role in San Francisco. Salary range: 170-190K USD plus benefits plus equity.
We're an AI-native property management system. We are available for tenants 24/7, are a detailed partner to vendors, and create the right buffer between property owners and the day-to-day of managing real estate.
We are looking for a Deployment Specialist with 2-6 years of experience to own customer onboarding and implementation for Mason, an AI-native property management platform. You'll be the first person in this role at a fast-growing, pre-product-market-fit startup backed by First Round Capital — joining a 5-person team deploying frontier AI into main street American businesses managing thousands of homes across the US.
What will you be doing?
- Owning the end-to-end customer go-live process — onboarding property management companies onto our platform and ensuring their success
- Traveling to client sites (Indianapolis, Atlanta, Birmingham, Jacksonville, etc.) to deeply understand customer operations and integrate our platform into their workflows
- Identifying product gaps and creatively proposing product solutions based on customer feedback — this role has a strong product component
- Communicating across tenants, vendors, and property managers to coordinate maintenance workflows and build credibility with blue-collar operators
- Helping shape the deployment playbook from scratch and eventually hiring and scaling the deployment team
Key Requirements
- 2-6 years of experience in consulting, business operations, chief of staff, or a similar operationally intensive role
- Management consulting background (not accounting/IT digitization)
- Extreme organization and detail orientation — borderline paranoia about missing details
- Creative problem solver who can think like a product manager — not just a by-the-book implementer
- High energy with willingness to travel frequently to client sites across the US and work in-person 5 days/week in SF
- Startup experience or startup mentality — no exclusively big tech or large corporate backgrounds
