Major employer in east TN has immediate opening for a Machining Engineer. This is a highly-stable manufacturer that is currently expanding.
The Machining Engineer should have a background in machining and milling operations. Knowledge of G-code and M-Code is required, with writing code being a strong plus. Basic Machinist skills and fixture modification experience are needed. Must understand how to read PLC's along with Tool / Die drawings.
Qualified candidates should have 3 years experience in Machining operations. Prefer candidates who have worked on large projects---this role will be involved with machine installations as the plant is adding new lines.
