Role Description:
- This is a full-time on-site role located in Salt Lake City, UT, and surrounding area, for an experienced Forklift Mechanic/Technician.
- The role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on forklifts.
- Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, routine service checks, troubleshooting equipment problems, and ensuring proper documentation of work performed.
- The Forklift Mechanic/Technician will also be responsible for maintaining safety standards and staying up to date with evolving industry practices and technologies.
Qualifications
- Mechanical skills related to the maintenance and repair of forklifts
- Electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and controls
- Able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
- Previous experience as a forklift mechanic or technician preferred

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
