Forklift Technician

Role Description:

• This is a full-time on-site role located in Salt Lake City, UT, and surrounding area, for an experienced Forklift Mechanic/Technician.
• The role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on forklifts.
• Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, routine service checks, troubleshooting equipment problems, and ensuring proper documentation of work performed.
• The Forklift Mechanic/Technician will also be responsible for maintaining safety standards and staying up to date with evolving industry practices and technologies.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills related to the maintenance and repair of forklifts
• Electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and controls
• Able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
• Previous experience as a forklift mechanic or technician preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
