Service Advisor

Zimbrick BGMC West

Zimbrick BGMC West is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team!

As a Service Advisor, you’ll be the key connection between our customers and our service technicians. You’ll help customers understand their vehicle’s service needs, recommend appropriate maintenance and repairs, and ensure every customer receives an exceptional experience from check-in to check-out.

What You'll Do

• Welcome customers and create a positive, professional service experience

• Listen carefully to customers and accurately document their vehicle concerns

• Recommend maintenance and repairs based on vehicle needs and manufacturer guidelines

• Communicate repair recommendations clearly and explain costs and timelines

• Work closely with technicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and timely repairs

• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process

• Review completed work with customers and explain services performed

• Prepare accurate repair orders and ensure all necessary documentation is completed

• Follow up with customers regarding recommended or declined services

• Help maintain strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business

• Meet dealership standards for customer satisfaction, sales, and profitability

What We're Looking For

• Customer service experience; automotive service experience is preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple customers and repair orders

• A professional, positive attitude and strong attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively with technicians, parts personnel, and other dealership team members

• Comfortable discussing vehicle repairs, maintenance, and pricing with customers

• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record

• A team-oriented mindset and commitment to providing an excellent customer experience

Automotive Service Advisor experience is a plus, but we’re also interested in candidates with strong customer service, sales, or automotive backgrounds who are ready to grow their career.
