What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator 1st Shift position at Career Opportunities?
Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Thursday.
Salary: $18.25 per hour, increasing to $19.75 within 6 months.
Summary:
The Machine Operator is responsible for performing various tasks which include operating, filling, packing, and monitoring machine production, while ensuring the products meet our production quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately operate machinery
- Keep up with production requirements, while meeting quality expectations
- Follow standard operating procedures (instructions & rules)
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Prompt, reliable attendance
Skills and Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 45 pounds
- Able to stand for 10 hours
