Summary:
The IT Manager - Infrastructure manages the day-to-day activities of the network infrastructure and business-critical systems, assessing system performance and resolving issues to minimize disruption to operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operation of all servers by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and repair
- Direct and supervise routine system maintenance.
- Manage network, and all related components, across various sites, including switching/vlans, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and site to site VPNs
- Assist with defining company standards for the selection, configuration, deployment and lifecycle management of business-critical systems, network infrastructure, and software
- Maintain compliance with software licensing, and software/hardware support agreements
- Maintain records of system downtime and equipment malfunction
- Coordinate and direct managed services providers on troubleshooting, monitoring, and updating software
- Maintain availability, and acceptable levels of performance, of mission critical resources
- Update, maintain, and test (annually) disaster recovery plans and procedures
- Train and mentor IT team members
- On call for after-hours issues
Requirements
- 5 years of experience administering and supporting Windows server environments and network infrastructure.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2019 or later).
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 DOE
