The Senior Specialist, Network and Telecom position based
in Clifton, New Jersey, seeks an experienced Network Infrastructure Engineer proficient
in modern informational networking infrastructure systems. This role involves
overseeing day-to-day operations of multiple interconnected networks across
geographic sites or campus locations, emphasizing scalable, secure, and complex
network solutions. The engineer will serve as the primary point of contact for
networks on-site, managing configuration, administration, and maintenance of
Cisco/Juniper switches, routers, firewalls, and IPS devices. This role requires
compliance with ICD 503 Risk Mitigation Framework (RMF), leadership of local IT
projects, coordination with IT Security, and resolving system vulnerabilities.
The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), CCNA
Certification or higher, CompTIA Network Certification, and an active US
Government Secret Clearance. Preferred skills include infrastructure
certifications, LAN/WAN optimization, firewall management, project management,
and experience with encryptors and Windows server administration. This
