We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with a strong traditional engineering background and expertise in security, cryptography, and systems design. This role offers the opportunity to lead projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and play a critical role in developing high-assurance, certified systems and products.
Lead and contribute to systems engineering activities across the full project lifecycle.
Apply expertise in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including TLS (Transport Layer Security) and certificate/key management.
Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches to support system design and analysis.
Implement and monitor Earned Value Management (EVM) practices to track project performance.
Provide technical leadership to project teams, ensuring alignment with engineering standards and security requirements.
Work on the development of products with NSA Approved Type 1 certification or similar security certifications.
Collaborate closely with Information Assurance, Security, and Cryptography teams.
Required Qualifications:
10 years of experience in systems engineering.
Strong traditional engineering background.
In-depth knowledge of PKI, TLS, and certificate/key management.
Hands-on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience.
Familiarity with EVM (Earned Value Management).
Demonstrated leadership experience (teams and/or projects).
Strong expertise in systems engineering, information assurance, security, and cryptography.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
Active U.S. Secret Clearance.
Nice-to-Have (Preferred) Certifications:
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

Soft Skills (Must-Have):
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
Deal Breakers (Would Not Consider):
Candidates without U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance.
