Infrastructure Engineer - Columbus, OH

Location: Columbus, OH (Local candidates only)
Employment Type: W2 Only

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a robust background in network technologies, fabric switching, and SD-WAN. The ideal candidate will be based near Columbus, OH, possess strong hands-on skills, and be comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment.

This role is technical and detail-driven, requiring in-depth expertise across a wide range of network systems. Strong communication and team interaction skills are essential.

• • Arista Fabric Technology – Fabric Switching

    • This is the top priority skill and absolutely required

  • Strong expertise in BGP (Border Gateway Protocol)

  • Proficient in OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) protocol

  • Experience with Juniper Wi-Fi

  • Hands-on experience with Network Access Controllers (NAC)

  • In-depth knowledge of SD-WAN platforms

    • VERSA SD-WAN experience is highly preferred

  • Familiarity with Route Segmentation / Multi-VRF

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams

  Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Cradlepoint or Netvendor for cellular router solutions

  • Firewall administration (Fortinet preferred)

  • Competency in Splunk for log queries and dashboard creation

  • Familiarity with Python and Ansible for automation/scripting tasks

  • This role is on-site or hybrid, depending on proximity to Columbus, OH

  • Candidates must be able to clearly articulate their experience with the listed technologies
