Position Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in banking/financial services and the ability to read and interpret Python code. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, with hands-on experience working in Agile environments and using tools like JIRA. This is a hybrid role requiring local candidates who can be onsite three days a week in Jersey City, NJ.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between business units and development teams.
Analyze and interpret technical requirements and business needs.
Read and understand Python code to support solution validation and issue analysis.
Document user stories, workflows, and functional specifications.
Support project tracking and issue resolution using JIRA.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of financial applications.
Provide subject matter expertise in banking or financial services domains.
Required Qualifications:
5–15 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
Ability to read and comprehend Python code.
Strong background in the banking or financial services industry.
Hands-on experience with JIRA for backlog and task management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Local to the Jersey City, NJ area (within 45 miles).
