What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Career Match Solutions?
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems per PPI’s preventative maintenance program requirements
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues on machinery and all building auxiliary equipment
Install, maintain and upgrade production equipment and building infrastructure
Respond to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns in a timely manner; these breakdowns may occur during production hours or off schedule hours
Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts inventory (Maintenance Supervisor)
Assist in developing and improving maintenance procedures and preventative maintenance program
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance
Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, hydraulic tools, any production equipment and diagnostic instruments safely and effectively
Any other tasks assigned by the Production/Process manager
Assist, as needed, in other areas of the manufacturing plant
