We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Associate Consultant to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in learning the HR consulting business from the ground up and thrives on organization, collaboration, and overall project management. In this role, you will work closely with CMA consultants and clients, supporting everything including proposal preparation, project coordination and HR document development. You will sit in on client meetings, contribute to the creation of deliverables, and help ensure projects stay on track. It’s a fast-paced environment with mentorship built in and ideal for someone looking to grow into a consultant role.
Responsibilities
· Support consultants in preparing proposals, presentations, and client materials.
· Attend client discovery and sales calls; take notes, identify action items, and follow up with next steps.
· Coordinate and track client projects using Monday.com and other tools, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
· Conduct research on HR best practices, client organizations, and industry trends to inform recommendations.
· Draft, edit, and format reports, job descriptions, policies, and other HR documents.
· Collaborate with colleagues to improve tools, templates, and processes.
· Participate in client meetings, training sessions, and hands-on HR projects as part of your professional development.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
· 3 years of professional experience in HR, recruiting, consulting, or business-to-business services in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
· Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills; you take pride in polished, professional work.
· Tech-savvy and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or project management tools preferred.
· Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn; able to take initiative and manage priorities.
· Confident communicator who can collaborate with senior leaders and clients.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
This position involves periods of focused computer work and collaboration in both office and virtual settings. The role requires the ability to concentrate, communicate effectively, and review detailed written materials. It may occasionally involve light physical activity, such as moving within an office or client site, preparing meeting materials, or handling office supplies (up to 25 pounds). The position also includes occasional travel, which may involve overnight stays.
