We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient clinic team. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain movement and manage pain following injuries, surgeries, or chronic health conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
Instruct patients in proper performance of therapeutic exercises.
Assist with mobility training, balance activities, strengthening, and flexibility programs.
Provide manual therapy techniques as directed by the PT.
Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
Communicate regularly with the supervising Physical Therapist about patient status and treatment effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Prior experience in an outpatient or orthopedic setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
