Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in Missouri. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care and help patients improve mobility, strength, and overall function. New graduates are encouraged to apply, and mentorship is available.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, functional training, and modalities to support patient recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic policies and state regulations.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
Qualifications
- Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current Missouri Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure through the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
