Tax Manager

We are seeking an experienced and client-focused CPA or EA Tax Manager to join our growing public accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, lead engagements, and mentor junior staff within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and review complex federal and state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients across multiple industries
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor
• Lead tax engagements from planning through completion while ensuring deadlines are met
• Research and interpret US tax legislation and provide practical recommendations
• Support IRS and state tax audits, notices, and correspondence
• Mentor, coach, and review the work of junior tax professionals
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and deliver added value to clients
Requirements
• Active CPA or EA license required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5 years of public accounting tax experience
• Strong knowledge of US federal and state tax regulations
• Experience reviewing complex tax returns and managing client portfolios
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
