Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced, mission-driven Business Development Manager Intern to lead and oversee CLTI's Business Development Intern team. In this role, you will manage day-to-day BD operations, audit intern performance, and ensure the team is executing outreach campaigns with consistency and quality. This is a leadership-level internship designed for someone ready to take on real management responsibilities in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and audit the weekly activity of BD Interns, including outreach volume, pipeline documentation, and follow-up quality
- Review and evaluate intern progress reports and provide structured feedback
- Ensure interns are meeting weekly outreach targets and pipeline goals
- Identify gaps or inconsistencies in intern performance and escalate when necessary
- Execute cold outreach independently as needed to support pipeline growth
- Lead or support weekly team check-ins and accountability meetings
- Coordinate directly with CLTI leadership on BD pipeline status and team updates
- Complete a final capstone presenting team results, learnings, and recommendations

- Strong organizational skills- you can track multiple people's work without losing detail
- Comfortable giving direct, constructive feedback to peers
- Familiar with cold outreach strategies and pipeline management
- Self-directed and proactive- you flag issues early and solve them independently
- Prior leadership, management, or supervisory experience is a strong plus
- Students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply
