The Director of Quality/Risk will oversee quality improvement initiatives and risk management programs, bringing together clinical expertise and proven management experience to drive meaningful performance improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct quality improvement initiatives across the facility
- Oversee risk management programs and mitigation strategies organization-wide
- Drive performance improvement through data analysis, clinical insight, and strategic planning
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and accreditation standards
- Champion patient safety efforts and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership to align quality and risk priorities
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that support organizational objectives
- Monitor key quality indicators and report findings to senior leadership
- Prepare for and participate in regulatory surveys, audits, and inspections
- Mentor and develop staff within the quality and risk departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing or another healthcare-related field required
- Clinical degree as a Registered Nurse required
- Minimum of five years of leadership and/or management experience in a healthcare setting in nursing, risk, and/or quality improvement required
