Career Consulting Partners is partnered with a premier law firm that has experienced massive growth in the last 2 years. Our client is seeking a dynamic, highly capable Labor & Employment Attorney with 4 - 10 years of class action experience
The firm is looking for a heavy hitter who can step in and handle complex class action wage and hour matters from the start. If you are a strategic litigator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a deep understanding of employment class actions, we want to speak with you.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for a robust caseload of complex Labor & Employment matters, with a heavy emphasis on class action and representative litigation.
- Handle all phases of litigation from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, propounding and responding to discovery, and motion practice.
- Independently handle court appearances, case management conferences, and hearings.
- Conduct and defend depositions of plaintiffs, defendants, and expert witnesses.
- Provide high-level, strategic counsel to corporate clients regarding employment compliance, risk mitigation, and litigation strategy.
- Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations to secure favorable outcomes for clients.
Qualifications
- 4 to 10 years of dedicated litigation experience specifically in Labor & Employment law.
- A proven track record of managing and litigating L&E class actions is strictly required. You must be able to independently drive these cases forward.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the CA Bar.
- Exceptional writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills. A proactive, self-starter mentality is non-negotiable for this role.
