Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Phlebotomist located in Ventura, CA. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for performing blood collection techniques, labeling and processing specimens, following proper safety protocols, and maintaining accurate patient records. This role also includes assisting medical staff, ensuring compliance with medical standards, and providing compassionate care to patients while following all relevant health, safety, and privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Laboratory Skills and Blood Collection techniques
- Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and the fundamentals of Medicine
- Experience in Medical Assisting roles or medical support environments
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient safety standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in phlebotomy is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and patient confidentiality standards
