The Packaging Operator is responsible for performing packaging operations in compliance with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). This role ensures accurate, efficient, and high-quality packaging of pharmaceutical or medical products while maintaining strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform packaging operations including labeling, bottling, blistering, and cartoning of products
Operate, set up, monitor, and clean packaging equipment and machinery
Follow all cGMP guidelines, SOPs, and company policies during operations
Complete and maintain accurate batch records, packaging logs, and documentation
Conduct in-process checks to ensure product quality, labeling accuracy, and packaging integrity
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including line clearance procedures
Report deviations, equipment malfunctions, or quality issues to supervisors immediately
Assist in changeovers and line setup between production runs
Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required PPE
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or food manufacturing packaging
Knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and SOP compliance
Experience with packaging equipment and production lines
Ability to read and follow written instructions and batch records
Skills & Competencies:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good documentation and record-keeping skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment
Team player with good communication skills
Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment operation
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
