Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Pool Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working for a pool service or pool construction company and be comfortable servicing residential and/or commercial pools independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool maintenance and cleaning services
- Test and balance pool water chemistry
- Inspect pool equipment and identify maintenance or repair needs
- Clean filters, baskets, pumps, and skimmers
- Vacuum pools, brush walls and tile, and remove debris
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate with office staff
- Provide professional and courteous customer service
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Assist with minor equipment repairs and troubleshooting when needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience working for a pool company
- Knowledge of pool water chemistry and equipment systems
- Ability to work independently and manage a service route
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and professional
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automation systems, heaters, pumps, and filters
- CPO certification or other pool industry certifications
- Experience with both residential and commercial pools
