Responsibilities
- Perform floor care duties, including stripping, waxing, buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning.
- Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain clean and sanitary floors throughout the facility.
- Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed.
- Follow infection control procedures and facility safety guidelines.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to management.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Previous floor care experience preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or skilled nursing facility is a plus.
- Knowledge of floor cleaning equipment, chemicals, and proper floor care techniques preferred.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and operating equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive work ethic.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
