Director of Nursing (DON)

We’re currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team and ensure the highest standards of care for our residents.

About the Role:

As the Director of Nursing, you’ll oversee all nursing operations within the facility. You’ll provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff, maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and work closely with other department leaders to foster a positive and efficient care environment.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and coordinate all nursing department activities
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff to promote professional growth and quality care
• Ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness
• Develop and implement care policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize resident outcomes
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and budgeting for the nursing department
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Current, Unecumbered RN license in the state of Ohio (required)
• Prior experience as a Director of Nursing or Assistant DON in a skilled nursing facility
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices
