CareCore at Heritage is seeking dedicated, compassionate, and energetic individuals to join our team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in our Intermediate Care Facility (ICF). No prior experience or certification is required - we provide comprehensive training upon hire!

Job Responsibilities:

As a Direct Support Professional, you will:

• Assist clients with daily living tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Teach basic money management and healthy relationship habits.
• Encourage positive social skills and provide support for community outings.
• Facilitate safe transportation for social, medical, and developmental needs.
• Complete required documentation and deliver outlined support services.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment.
• Advocate for clients with disabilities, empowering them to exercise their rights and actively participate in their community.
  
  
  

Position Details:

• Job Type: Full Time 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm-10:00 pm.
• Job Type Part Time Shower Aide 2:00 pm- 6:00 pm (Monday-Friday) On call 6:00 pm-10:00 pm & every 3rd weekend.
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend. Hours may vary based on workshop schedules.
• Compensation: Includes shift and weekend differentials.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No STNA license is required; training is provided.
  
  
  

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Successful completion of a drug screen and physical examination.
• FBI and BCI background checks.
