Join our team at Main Street Terrace Care Center, a small, home-like facility with 50 beds where we prioritize teamwork to provide delicious food and exceptional care to our residents. We are currently seeking a Dietary Cook who shares our commitment to quality and community.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated Dietary Cook who can effectively prepare meals and contribute to a positive dining experience for our residents. If you have a passion for cooking and can work well in a collaborative environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Working Hours/Schedule: Part-Time, 11am-7:30pm every other weekend

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and dietary requirements for long-term care residents.
• Ensure meals are prepared on time and served in an appealing manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure food quality and resident safety.
• Assist with meal planning and inventory management.
• Work collaboratively with the team to provide a pleasant dining experience for residents.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a long-term care or similar setting.
• Ability to comprehend and execute recipes accurately.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently as well as part of a team.
