Activity Aide

CareCore at Gaymont is looking for an energetic, dependable, and compassionate PRN Activity Aide to join our Activities team! This is an as-needed position that will help provide coverage for staff callouts, vacations, holidays, weekends, and other scheduling needs.

Schedule

• PRN / As Needed

• Typical hours are 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

• Must be flexible and available to help cover callouts and vacations

• Weekend and holiday availability is required

• Hours will vary based on facility needs

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and leading recreational and social activities

• Encourage resident participation and engagement

• Help with games, crafts, group activities, special events, and celebrations

• Assist with setting up and cleaning up activity areas

• Provide friendly one-on-one interaction with residents

• Help create a positive, welcoming environment throughout the facility

Qualifications

• Must be dependable, outgoing, and comfortable working with seniors

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Previous experience in long-term care, senior living, activities, recreation, or a similar setting is preferred

• Must have the flexibility required for a PRN/as-needed position
