Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized care to patients, addressing their unique needs and preferences.
- Support patients with mobility and transfers, promoting their independence and safety.
- Administer medications accurately and safely, following healthcare professional instructions.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and communicate any concerns to medical personnel.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid PCA or HHA certification.
- Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality principles.
- Be able to prepare simple meals and maintain a clean living environment as needed.
- Meet the requirements of the New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
- Possess adequate literacy and arithmetic skills.
- Be at least 18 years old.
