Male Caregiver Immediate Hire

Immediate hire for the right male caregiver able to provide care for a disabled male veteran in North Charlotte that requires assistance with personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.

Pay is $17.00 an hour and shifts are 5 days a week, Mon - Friday, starting at 10am for a total of 28 hours per week,

Job Description:

CareBuilders at Home is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to assist our clients in daily activities and personal tasks. This may include tasks like feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, and administering medication. The Personal Care Aide must have a genuine interest in helping people, be physically capable, and highly observant.

Responsibilities of the Personal Care Aide:

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, feeding, grooming and medication reminders
• Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, dishwashing, and changing bed linens
• Transporting and accompanying clients to doctors office or to hospital
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs
• Ensure client safety and maintain a safe environment
• Assist with client’s exercise and outdoor activities
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals
  
  
  

Qualifications of the Personal Care Aide:

• Comply with CareBuilders at Home policies and procedures
• Proven work experience as a personal care aide
• Training in personal care aide duties is a plus
