We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks aimed at promoting independence and comfort for those you serve.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary needs.
- Maintain cleanliness in the living environment, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Support clients with mobility needs.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction, particularly for those with Alzheimer's or dementia.
- Uphold HIPAA regulations by ensuring confidentiality and privacy of client information.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, hospice care, or long-term care is preferred.
- Familiarity with memory care practices and Alzheimer’s care techniques is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Must be able to follow care plans accurately while being attentive to the unique needs of each client.
