Compensation
- Competitive Pay $21-$23 per hour
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Assist with coordinating and scheduling caregivers to meet client requirements, always ensuring adequate coverage.
- Communicate effectively with clients and caregivers to address scheduling changes, concerns, and emergencies.
- Supervise work activities of the caregiving team.
- Cover home care shifts when needed.
- Train newly hired caregivers to the CareBuilders way.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of caregiver schedules, client preferences, and other relevant information.
- Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and training of the caregiving team.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones and emails, visit verification and payroll review.
- Develop and instruct caregivers in the use of practices, procedures and equipment.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a professional caregiver.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing employees.
- Previous experience with Companionship, Personal Assistance and Specialty home care cases including Alzheimer’s, Dementia and Hoyer lift operation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and scheduling software
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Compassionate and customer-focused attitude
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Must pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle driving record check
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time
- Maintain client confidentiality and privacy
- Comply with CT elder abuse and neglect reporting requirements
- Have a compassionate and professional attitude with excellent communication skills.
