This position is based onsite in Louisville, KY and requires onsite presence four days per week, with one remote workday permitted weekly.
The role supports patients across multiple markets and requires licensure in Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. Additional state licensure reimbursement is available.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Nutrition Assessment & Planning: Provide comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans, utilizing evidence-based nutrition guidelines.
- Counseling & Education: Deliver expert nutrition counseling to patients, addressing a variety of health conditions, particularly chronic diseases. Educate patients on therapeutic diets, meal planning, and healthy eating habits.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team (including physicians) to integrate nutrition interventions into patient care.
- Documentation & QI: Track patient progress and document interventions effectively. Contribute to clinic support and ongoing education initiatives related to nutrition and wellness.
- Licensure & Education (Required):
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (required).
- State License if required in the practice state.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, or Human Nutrition.
- Experience & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and disease management.
- Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.
- Preferred:
- Minimum of one year experience providing nutrition counseling in an outpatient setting preferred.
- Relevant specialty certification (CDCES, CSOWM, etc.) preferred.
- Master's degree preferred.
