What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant (MA) - Multi Site position at CareATC?
CareATC is looking for an independent and driven Medical Assistant for a full-time opportunity at the LG&E-AOC, providing Occupational Heath with some primary care services! This opportunity is a full-time, benefit eligible position, providing direct patient care in a health care setting, at onsite locations in Louisville, Trimble and Ghent, Kentucky. This role will require travel to other area clinics, Mileage is reimbursed between sites. There are no nights or weekends!!
Hours: 32 hours per week
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

In an effort to provide exceptional patient/client satisfaction, the Medical Assistant will assist in daily administrative activities, performing Occupational Testing and assisting the provider with all patient visits.

The Role Of The Medical Assistant
- Clerical responsibilities, appointment scheduling, office call/fax handling
- Greet patients, perform vitals.
- Performs work up for physical exams, patient triage, assisting/follow up with PFT, EKG, and Audiograms as needed.
- Exhibit good clinical judgement within the scope of the role with or without the provider present.
- Follow all clinical and clerical protocols per company policy.
- Must be willing to travel to onsite clinic locations (no overnight stay required)
