About This Opportunity: CareATC is currently looking for an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner that will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary treatment team to provide exceptional patient care. The CareATC approach is to work with our patient population to assist in chronic disease management through individual interventions, clinic support and ongoing education. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with our entire medical team to provide high quality, comprehensive primary care and occupational health to the employees and families in Louisville and the surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both primary care and occupational health The clinic is open Monday - Friday 7:30am—4:00pm This is a full-time opportunity with competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, malpractice and more! • Provide Virtual care to patients when needed and clinically appropriate.
• Experience providing primary care and diagnostic services in a clinical setting.
• Experience prescribing appropriate medications, treatments, and health regimens to treat patient health Issues
• DEA required for prescribing
• Ability to pass on-site credentialing
• Current license in the state(s) needed for practicing
• Comply with all medical laws and HIPAA standards
• Strong desire to promote health, disease management and prevention.
  
  

Other Duties May Include The Following

• Willing to become DOT Certified as a Certified Medical Examiner
• At times, and when needed being able to perform physical examinations including pre-employment, annual, fitness for duty, and periodic exams. Such examinations may include OSHA, DOT, or other required surveillance examinations.
• Reviewing and providing medical clearance for employees
• Interpretation of basic ECG, laboratory, audiometry, and spirometry testing.
• Diagnosis and treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses
• Medical case management of employees with both work-related illnesses or injuries and personal medical leave
• Promotion of health and safety. Serve as a resource for the client.
• Supporting employer programs, including medical surveillance and return to work.
