In this role, you will drive operational strategy, lead cross-functional collaboration, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care across your sites.
Location Requirement: This is a remote role with regional oversight; candidates must be based in the Salt Lake City, UT area.

- Salary Range: $120,000 – $145,000, based on experience
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Area Operations Director (AOD) to lead the performance of multiple Health Centers within a defined region. In this role, you will drive operational strategy, lead cross-functional collaboration, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care across your sites.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Lead day-to-day operations across assigned health centers, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and high-quality service delivery
- Partner with Area Medical Directors and Client Success leaders to drive performance, manage escalations, and optimize outcomes
- Analyze performance data and proactively implement strategies to improve key business and clinical metrics
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, clinical, and organizational standards
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams, including direct oversight of Health Center staff and AAODs
- Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across your region
What You’ll Bring to the Team (Minimum Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience within the healthcare industry (onsite or primary care environment strongly preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of proven multi-site management experience
- Demonstrable operations experience is required
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills with solid business acumen, including budget and business plan development
- Experience managing P&Ls up to $10M in revenues and overseeing multi-site health center operations (3–5 years preferred)
- Strong negotiation skills in both internal and external interactions
- Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), and leadership skills
- Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics, utilizing business management software
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, management, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience working as a Clinic Manager
- Professional certifications (e.g., operations management, data analysis)
- Experience with customer data applications or CRM platforms
