The QA Clinical Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing clinical documentation and ensuring the delivery of high-quality client care within the home health team. This role involves reviewing submitting clinical notes for quality and accuracy, management of client note life cycles, managing changes in conditions, coordinating workflows, and driving compliance within both organizational and regulatory standards. Reporting to the SR Clinical Manager, the QA Clinical Manager is essential in supporting clinical teams’ care delivery by ensuring that backend processes, review, and management of clients is complete and accurate. This role will partner with CareAparent’s QAPI and Compliance stakeholders to perform chart reviews and audits to ensure CareAparent’s documentation and records practices is compliance with all regulatory bodies.


This position will be based out of our main corporate office in Woodbury, MN.

Working hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Salary Range: $87,000.00 to $110,000.00


Position Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion Organizational Vision and Values: Serve as an advocate for the company's mission, vision, and values, integrating them into daily interactions and decision-making. Communicate and embody these principles to inspire staff and foster a culture aligned with organizational goals.
  • Productivity & Outcomes: Monitor and manage staff documentation, clinical outcomes, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned team members.
  • Workflow Efficiencies: Improve workflows, including documentation and caseload management, to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Directly review clinical documentation providing professional and complete feedback to clinicians and managers for continuous improvement in documentation and quality practices.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Facilitate effective meetings and collaborate with stakeholders in therapy, quality assurance/performance improvement (QAPI), compliance, and executive leadership.
  • Patient Care Management: Oversee the life cycle of patients’ journeys through CareAparent’s EMR ensuring episode continuity, changes in conditions, coding, QA audits and discharges are done consistently and accurately across all disciplines.


Qualifications:

  • A Nursing degree from an accredited college or university (BSN preferred)
  • A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Homecare
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience
  • Knowledge regarding quality improvement and home health standards of care
  • Experience in teaching both patient and family self-care skills
  • Knowledge regarding the impact of acute and chronic illness on the lives of patients and families in the community
  • Basic technology and computer literacy
  • Desire to serve others with compassion, excellence, safety, collaboration, trust, and integrity.
