In-Home Caregiver – Full-Time (Immediate Start)

Position Details

• Location: Battle Creek
• Schedule: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (12-hour shifts) Over time available
• Alternating weekends
• Education/Experience Level- Experience required
• Pay: $17–$19 per hour (based on experience)
• Status: Full-Time | Immediate Start Available

We are immediately hiring for a full-time position in Battle Creek, MI.

About the Role

You will provide essential in-home support to seniors and individuals with disabilities, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. This role plays a vital part in improving quality of life for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with meal preparation and proper nutrition
• Support with mobility and transfers (including lifting when required)
• Follow individualized care plans, including memory care and long-term care support
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
• Monitor client health and report changes or concerns
• Assist with medication reminders
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities when needed
• Empty Change Catheter

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous caregiving experience preferred (home care, nursing home, hospice, direct support, etc.)
• CPR knowledge is a plus
• Experience following care plans
• Ability to assist clients with varying levels of independence
• Physically able to perform job duties, including lifting when required
• Catheter Experience
• Fall Prevention/Safe Fall experience
• Reliable, compassionate, and professional

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week
