Job Description:
We are urgently seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to join our team in Benton Harbor, MI. This is an immediate hiring opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities. As a caregiver, you will provide support for clients in the comfort of their own homes or in an assisted living setting, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor and document clients' health conditions, reporting any significant changes.
• Assist with mobility and transfer support, ensuring safety at all times.
• Administer medications and assist with medical appointments as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning.
• Promote clients' independence and well-being through engaging activities.
• Ensure clients’ comfort and safety at all times, following care plans and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a caregiver, CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), or similar role preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and their families.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Must be able to lift, move, or assist with transferring clients when necessary.
