About the Company
Care Security Systems is a 35-year woman-owned commercial security integrator serving Fortune 500 clients. We specialize in fire alarms, access control, video surveillance, intrusion systems, and life safety solutions. As we expand into the Carolinas, we're looking for an experienced Lead Technician/Project Manager to help build and lead our presence in the region.
About the Role
This is a home-to-field position covering North and South Carolina, no office commute. You'll be the boots on the ground for the Carolinas, managing security installation projects from start to finish while leading crews of subcontractors and technicians.
Responsibilities
- Manage security installation projects across NC and SC from award through completion
- Lead and supervise crews of subcontractors and temporary technicians on job sites
- Coordinate scheduling, materials, and logistics for multiple concurrent projects
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during installations
- Handle occasional service calls as needed
- Maintain quality standards and ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
- Communicate progress and updates to the operations team
Qualifications
- 5 years of hands-on experience in security systems installation — fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion, or low-voltage
- Experience leading field crews or subcontractors
- Strong project management skills — scheduling, budgeting, client communication
- Based in the Charlotte metro area or surrounding NC/SC region
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Certifications a plus but not required (NICET, OSHA, BICSI, low-voltage license)
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a home-to-field environment
Required Skills
- 5 years of hands-on experience in security systems installation

Pay range and compensation package
Competitive compensation $80K-$120K based on experience
