Job Description: Licensed Practical Nurse

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. They work in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Assist with patient assessments and care planning
• Collect and document patient information, such as medical history and symptoms
• Communicate with patients and their families about their care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

Requirements:

• Current LPN license in the state of employment
• Completion of an accredited LPN program
