We are seeking a Dietary Manager to oversee the operations of our dietary department. The ideal candidate will ensure meals are nutritious, appealing, and prepared in accordance with residents’ needs, regulatory standards, and facility policies. This role requires strong leadership skills, organizational ability, and a commitment to teamwork and excellence in resident care.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and direct dietary services to meet the daily nutritional and special dietary needs of residents.
- Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff, ensuring efficiency and compliance with standards.
- Develop menus in consultation with the registered dietitian to meet nutritional guidelines.
- Monitor food preparation, portion control, and presentation for quality and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to food service and sanitation.
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to support individualized care plans.
- Maintain inventory, order supplies, and manage the dietary budget effectively.
Qualifications:
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential preferred.
- If not currently certified, must obtain CDM certification within 12 months of hire (required).
- Prior experience in food service management within a healthcare or long-term care setting strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards for skilled nursing facilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and families.
