Care Pack Counseling LLC is looking for an energetic and highly qualified LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), PhD, or PsyD to serve as our Clinical Director, leading our mental health and behavioral health training and clinical oversight. We are looking for someone who will oversee clinical training and manage staff. *The right candidate will receive, IN WRITING, a part ownership of 20% after 5 years. We are building a practice that is treating our clinicians the way they deserve to be treated.

*This position is perfect for someone who is working at a private practice who already has their own caseload and is looking to transition into a different opportunity. Must be ok with virtual services for a short period of time.

*Must be licensed or able to be licensed in NH and open to getting licensed in MA and RI.

Duties

  • Provide clinical oversight for all treatment programs, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and ICD coding standards.
  • Supervise clinical staff, including therapists, case managers, and support personnel, fostering professional development through mentoring and supervision.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for individuals with mental health conditions, co-occurring disorders, neurodevelopmental disabilities, and substance use disorders.
  • Lead intake sessions to establish rapport with new clients while coordinating group therapy sessions, individual counseling, family therapy, and crisis intervention efforts.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), motivational interviewing, and psychotherapy.
  • Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems to ensure accurate documentation of patient care, medical records, billing codes such as CPT codes, ICD-10/ICD-9/ICD coding standards, and medical terminology.
  • Ensure all clinical activities meet quality standards while maintaining a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in mental health counseling
  • Proven management skills with supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams in behavioral health
  • Strong knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols.
  • Expertise in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), neurodevelopmental disorders, co-occurring disorders, and substance use disorders.
  • Proficiency in intake procedures, diagnostic evaluation using ICD coding systems (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding (CPT coding), and medical documentation standards.
  • Skilled in applying evidence-based therapies including CBT, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), motivational interviewing, social work principles, child & family counseling, and psychotherapy techniques.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR/EHR) systems for accurate documentation of patient care activities.
  • Ability to manage complex cases involving PTSD care or trauma-informed approaches such as CPT coding for trauma treatment.
  • Strong communication skills for working effectively with patients’ families as well as collaborating with community partners.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and security of medical records while maintaining compliance across all clinical operations.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
