Responsibilities of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
- Medication administration per physician orders
- Physician ordered treatments for Nutrition via a feeding tube, Tracheostomy care, Suctioningnasal, oral and/or endotracheal, Ventilation care, Seizure assessment and treatment
Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
- Current, active Florida LPN license
- Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person)
- G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
- Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
