Care One, a premier staffing agency in Michigan, is seeking a Business Development Director to join our team.
This role is responsible for driving growth across state and local government markets by identifying, qualifying, and capturing new opportunities through procurement portals, RFB, RFI, RFP, RFQ processes, and MSP/VMS channels.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of winning government contracts, managing opportunities through public procurement platforms, and building relationships with state and local agencies, procurement officers, and program leaders.
Business Development Director Responsibilities:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to identify new market opportunities
- Proficient in data analysis tools to manage sales pipelines and track performance
- Identify and qualify opportunities through government procurement platform
- Manage bid opportunities across platforms such as:
o Jaggaer
o SIGMA
o Oracle Procurement Cloud
o BidNet
o EUNA
- Track and manage RFP, RFB, RFQ, RFI pipelines
- Manage vendor registrations, certifications, and compliance documentation
- Identify opportunities through MSP/VSM program and other contract vehicles
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and opportunity tracking
Business Development Director Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field
- Proven track record of success in health care business development, including experience in sales, account management, and relationship building
- · Deep Understanding of healthcare landscape, including reimbursement models, regulations and industry trends.
- · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify business opportunities and evaluate market potential
- · Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills to effectively engage with potential clients
- Proficient in data analysis tools to manage sales pipelines and track performance
- Ability to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend industry events.
