Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and potty training
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care
- Maintain open communication with parents or guardians about their child's progress and needs
- Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and gentle guidance
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Certification in First Aid and CPR may be required or willingness to obtain upon hiring
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children is essential
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members
- Compassionate caregiving attitude with a genuine love for working with children

Disclaimer: This position is part-time only at this time. The working hours will be 2pm to 6pm, non-negotiable. Childcare for dependent children may be available but is not guaranteed.
