Primary Function
Responsible for installing, operating and maintaining all heating, ventilation and cooling systems in the hospital.

Vocational/technical training and a minimum of five year’s job-related experience or equivalent is required. RI Refrigeration License is also required.

Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain proper temperatures and ventilation throughout the hospital. Maintain all control systems (electric and pneumatic) for AHU and chillers.
- Assure all medical gases are maintained at proper pressures. Test heating and cooling water and add chemicals as needed.
- Conduct preventative maintenance necessary to maintain all equipment. Repair any equipment that is not operating properly
- Install all new equipment including duct installations and piping medical gases.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
