NP/PA – Next Level senior care at a top teaching hospital

Kent Hospital , a 360 bed teaching hospital, part of Care New England , a top non-profit health system in RI and southeastern MA, is seeking an Advanced Practice Caregiver to join our dynamic Geriatrics and Palliative Care Team.

Who Are You

• BC NP/AGPCNP or PA-C with CAQ in geriatrics preferred
• Passionate about teamwork, teaching and high quality patient centered care
  
  

What You’ll Do

• Outpatient primary care and consultative practice located adjacent to Kent Hospital
• Patient population: geriatrics ages 65 , appointments range from 30-60 minutes
• Scope of practice: primary care, h&ps, develop and implement treatment plans for a variety of conditions, cognitive evaluations, mobility management, pre-operative geriatric assessment through our Geriatric Surgery Verification program
• Option for some time to be spent on our ACE inpatient unit at Kent Hospital
• Collaborate on system wide Age Friendly initiatives
• Minimum 1 year experience
