Private Duty Nurse RN and LPN Requirements:
- Registered Nurses: No experience required - Accept applications from new grad RNs.
- LPNs: Minimum 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred, but not necessarily required.
- Active and in good standing RN or LPN license with the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
Private Duty Nurse Responsibilities include, but not necessarily limited to:
- Assessments
- Administering medication
- Feedings
- Suctioning
- Monitoring Vitals
- Blood pressure
- Charting (training provided)
- Trach care (training provided)
- Vent care (training provided)
- Other total nursing care duties as assigned
