Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse position located at Southridge Specialty Care in Marshalltown, IA. The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care, monitor patient health, administer medications and treatments, and support patient recovery plans. Responsibilities include collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, documenting patient progress, ensuring adherence to care plans, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents and patients.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with appropriate state board
- Proficiency in patient assessment, care planning, and administration of medications
- Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills
- Compassion, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, individualized patient care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Experience in long-term care, hospice, or rehabilitation services is a plus
