Role Description This full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role is based in Pleasant Hill, IA. The Registered Nurse will provide direct, person-centered nursing care to residents and patients, including assessments, care planning, medication administration, and clinical interventions. This role will monitor changes in condition, document care thoroughly, and communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, coordinated care. The Registered Nurse will supervise and support other care team members, such as CNAs, to ensure adherence to care plans and regulatory standards. The role also involves participating in care conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing education to uphold best practices in skilled nursing and hospice or long-term care.

Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa (or eligibility to obtain), with good standing.
- Clinical skills in assessment, care planning, medication administration, and wound care within skilled nursing, long-term care, or similar settings.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team, including CNAs, therapists, social workers, and providers.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and colleagues with empathy and professionalism.
- Commitment to person-centered, compassionate, and culturally sensitive care for diverse populations.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) documentation and basic computer skills.
- Organizational and time-management skills to prioritize multiple residents’ needs and maintain accurate records.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed to support resident care.
- CPR/BLS certification required; additional certifications (e.g., in geriatrics, hospice, or rehabilitation nursing) are a plus.
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, hospice, or rehabilitation settings preferred but not required; new graduates with a strong commitment to elder care are encouraged to apply.
