What it takes to become a MDS Coordinator with Care Initiatives:
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing. License must be valid within the state of Iowa, or ability to activate.
- Current, valid CPR certification.
- MDS credentialed or willingness to obtain.
- Familiarity with MDS 3.0/RAI Manual and work experience in long-term care and gerontological nursing are highly preferred.
